Please note: These methods have not been tested by CAIRSS against the SEER system. The following information is provided by repository managers and technical officers from individual universities. It is hoped that sharing this information will assist others in configuring their repositories for ERA access.
Following extensive testing with the RQF and ERA pilots during 2007-8, The University of Wollongong will be using IP access control to ERA RODA in a dark archive section of their Digital Commons repository Research Online. A simple URL for item metadata pages will be inserted into the submission XML. Research Impact Statements will be located within the metadata pages. Where items are eligible for open access, a duplicate entry will be created outside of the dark archive.
