CAIRSS Repository Manager Survey

Introduction

The CAIRSS Repository Managers Survey is run annually as a means of looking across the Australasian institutional repository community to see where issues lie, where points of interest surface, and what trends are emerging. In 2009 the Survey was run as a phone survey; in 2010 and 2011 the Survey moved to a voluntary online survey.

The Survey covers areas around the following themes:

  • General repository management questions
  • Staffing
  • Software
  • Using statistics in a repository
  • Links with research systems
  • Copyright in repositories
  • Data Management
  • Perceptions of the institutional repository within the institution
  • Collabarations and linkages beyond the immediate CAIRSS network
